  • Rhodinile Blue Stain

Fixation:

None

Procedure:

  • Add an equal amount of Rhodinile Blue Stain to a few drops of heparinised or EDTA-treated blood. Swirl gently and let stand 2 minutes.

  • Prepare thin smears and air dry.

  • Smears can be examined as usual or can be mounted with a synthetic resin.

Yellow-Orange to Blue-Green

Erythrocytes

Blue

Reticulocytes
